Homeowner Tips:
Stumps DO NOT need to be ground to 12inches deep.
Many Landscape companies are now requesting that Tree Companies grind their clients stumps to 12in deep. This is not needed. Industry standards state stumps be ground 5-7 inches. There should be no planting except for grass seed or small plants in the area for up to a year.
